Welcome back to my blog! I hope all is well with you 🙂
Jingle bells jingle bells Jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to ride In a one horse open sleigh. ~~~
I am totally soaked in the season of love and giving! Read on to find out what are some of best deals and presents I had hand picked from the Philatelic Store @GPO, located at Singpost Centre! The Philatelic Store @GPO is operated and owned by Singapore Post.
The store offers both long-time and new stamp collectors a comprehensive range of Singapore and Foreign Stamps, Thematic MyStamp, Souvenirs, and Philatelic Gifts that are available exclusively in store!
Every item in the store marks a special moment in Singapore’s history. ❤
I LOVE these artworks with the stamps and how they are so complementary. The exquisite designs of the collections make them perfect for all occasions- decorations, business gifts or cherished inclusions in every philatelist’s personal collection.
Look at this red posting box behind me! This post box was from the colonial-era and it has been restored back to its former glory.
I love how the shop classifies the festive gift ideas with philately designs ranging from $5 to $10. This would help you to save your time if you are looking for affordable gifts that you can just pick, grab and go!
My picks from this range:
Look at these lovely “Greetings” stamps! Aren’t they very cute! This was only launched in November.
Stamp booklet and stamp sheets from the merlion series are available from $3 onwards. They even have postcards of this theme!
The highlight of my shopping spree is of course the Thematic MyStamp from Changi Mystical Garden with Sanrio Characters. For Sanrio characters lovers, this is definitely something you must not miss!
Can you guess what this is?
It is actually a traditional Biscuits Magnets Set! They remind me of the biscuits I used to eat when I was young. This is something that I can show my kid next time, the kind of biscuits mummy used to eat when I was young. Hehe.. Hopefully these biscuits would still be around!
The next thing that caught my eye at the shop was the Posting Boxes of Singapore Collection. I like how the pouches, cushion cover, tea towel and the tote bags reminds me of the wonderful country we live in and something to be thankful for each day.
Last but not least, I want to thank Brunches Cafe for the lovely food at the event. Brunches cafe is the latest chic vintage themed cafe located along Rangoon Road near Farrer Park MRT. They serve really nice All-day breakfast menu, sandwiches and did I mention WAFFLES and COFFEE? So cafe hoppers, you know where to do next!
If you would like to find out more about the Singpost, you can hop on here. You can also visit the Philatelic store @GPO at #01-127 to 128 at the Singpost Centre beside Paya Lebar MRT Station.
